                            First Australian woman to row accross the  Atlantic Ocean

                            In February 2008 I completed the Atlantic Rowing Race. We had  been rowing in shifts of 2hrs on, 2hrs off for over 70 days and as we neared the  finish we were only just behind a French mens crew who we desperately wanted to  beat. If there was ever a time to dig deep this was it, and Owen’s voice in my  head saying “come on, don’t let me down – give it absolutely everything you’ve  got” spurred me on. We absolutely flew into the finish and I cannot thank my  brother enough for his fierce belief that I was capable of this 110% push.  Knowing that he expected me to perform at my best left me no option but to do  just that. As a trainer he will always push you to your limit, but in doing so  enable you to achieve amazing things. He is now helping me prepare for selection  for a crew that aims to break the Atlantic rowing record. I will be up against  Olympic athletes and will have to undergo a grueling SAS type physical test in  order to make the crew. With Owens expert help I have every confidence I’m in  with a chance.

                            I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for everything over the  last couple of months - the fantastic, challenging, but always fun sessions, and  all the help and invaluable information and advice you've given me.
                            I feel like I've learnt from two of the best -and definitely friendliest & most energetic trainers!
                            You are both so different in your  sessions, yet fundamentally the same in your principles - fun interesting and FUNCTIONAL - far more beneficial to everyday life! 
                            You complement each other perfectly and I feel privelaged to have been instructed by you both! I will really miss my weekly sessions, hopefully you will still be here when I get back!

                            I started training with Owen 5 years ago once a week  and that proved to be the best decision I have ever made for my health and welbeing. No matter where Owen was training I followed right along, he pushed me  beyond my normal boundaries and made the whole experience fun. When Owen decided  to make a solo trip overseas I was beside myself, I had spent 2 1/2 years training with him and felt lost without our sessions. However Owen passed me on to Jaime to take over my training. I have to say that no matter how hard  Owen  pushed me, Jaime pushed just as hard. We had sessions in the gym once a week as  well as a new experience, once a week outdoor sessions. At first I thought  getting up before the sun on a Saturday to go workout outdoors would be difficult, not at all! It was the perfect boost to the weekend and I really started to look forward to it.
                            Eventually Owen and Jaime informed me that they were both going to travel overseas. After they left, my motivation left with them and  before I knew it I hadn't seen the inside of a gym in 6 months and I was really at a low point. The solution was a simple email to Owen and Jaime, the result was a 3 day a week training program sent to me the next day! I promised
                            them and  myself I would stick with it knowing that if I lost motivation they were only an  email away. The 3 day a week program turned into 5 days a week,  and before I new  it I was feeling great, full of energy and transforming my body. I kept them up  to date on how things were going with the training and my they adjusted  the program and every month a new program was  in my inbox and some new tips on  imroving my nutrition.
                            How good is that from 1,000's of miles away they were training  me and I was getting results and staying motivated, because they kept me  motivated! Now that they are back I once again look forward to our one on one  outdoor sessions and the challenge of my strength sessions in the gym!

                            In my line of work I deal with a lot personal trainers and personal training studios, they are always trying to get me to train with them and my response is always the same "Why would I train with you when I already train with the best!"

                            Post Pregnancy

                             I met Owen 2 months after having my first bay. With his help I have strengthened my core and am well on the way to re-gaining my  pre-pregnancy fitness level and body shape.
                            I am Feeling Great! 

                            Some Highlights of my training experience are:

                                -The diversity of Exercises every session means it never gets boring and  is always challenging
                                -I am always kept motivated
                                -I can see definite improvement in my fitness and energy levels

                            I just wanted to write a few words to
                            thank you for what you've  helped me achieve!
                            I was a very different person 6 or
                            so months ago, but I'm  glad to say that I am now a better person both on the  inside and outside. 

                            Even  though you may have been pushing me to the limits, I was still able to laugh and  I think that is why I enjoyed it so much! 

                            You made everything fun, and there was  no time, even when I hated doing something, that I didn't enjoy something about  it.
                             
                            I am now looking probably the best I have looked in a very long  time, I don't think I could have achieved as much as I did without your help.

                            I want to thank you for being the best personal trainers and good friends. You have inspired me to be a better person and know that anything I put my mind to, I can achieve!

                            Thanks for motivating me and also for your sense of humour! It is good to have a variety of exercises and I am  very happy you are working with me on my weaknesses and not just doing a "standard routine".

                            ROBIN SANDERS - Caring Aunt to Client Troy Sanders
                             
                            My nephew, Troy, recently came to stay with me for a holiday.  Troy is 31 years old and has mild cerebral palsy. Troy lives in Penola, SA with  his father. Since leaving his job at a disabled workshop  about a year ago, Troy  has put on weight and lost mobility and interest generally.
                             
                            Owen Bowling was engaged as Troy’s personal trainer and we  organised training sessions every day for a week. Troy was quite
                            apprehensive about it all but was keen to help himself.
                             
                            Owen instilled motivation and enthusiasm into Troy and from the very first visit, Troy couldn’t wait for the next one. Amongst other
                            things,  Owen showed Troy how to correctly stand up from a seat without using his hands and to get up from the floor by himself.

                            Owen talked about the importance of a  correct diet and gave Troy suggestions about when and what to eat and drink.

                            We extended the visits into a second week. Troy lost nearly 6 kgs
                            over the two  weeks and you could see his mobility improving every
                            day.

                            Troy’s attitude and self confidence improved with every visit  and his
                            phone calls home to his father and sisters were full of enthusiasm. He 
                            walked up our long, steep driveway on the last day of his holiday,  something he  couldn’t have done two weeks prior.

                            I would like to thank Owen (Mr Fit) for his friendliness, professionalism and enthusiasm. His help has given Troy a whole new outlook on life and the beginning of the process for renewed mobility and fitness.
